The O’Donnell & Friends Open, first established in 1994, has raised more than $1.9 million dollars for Des Moines area causes. This is the largest fundraiser that O’Donnell & Friends Charities holds, and has been hosted at Toad Valley Golf course every year since its inception.
The 32nd O’Donnell & Friends Open was held Friday, June 27th, 2025. SIX wonderful charities benefited from the event: Community Hand Up, Free Store, Foster Squad, Harvest Academy, Mary’s Helping Hands, and St. Anthony School.
We also recognized several scholarship award winners for the Dan & Dee O’Donnell Memorial Scholarship.
The 33rd O’Donnell & Friends Open will be held Friday, June 26th, 2026. NINE wonderful charities will benefit from the event: Boys & Girls Club of Central Iowa, Can Do Cancer, Grace for Addictions, The Little White Schoolhouse, Polk County Conservation, Rhythms of Grace, Ronald McDonald House of Central Iowa, Variety Club of Central Iowa, and Walk With You.
