The O’Donnell & Friends Open, first established in 1994, has raised more than $1.9 million dollars for Des Moines area causes. This is the largest fundraiser that O’Donnell & Friends Charities holds, and has been hosted at Toad Valley Golf course every year since its inception.
The 31st O’Donnell & Friends Open was held Friday, June 28th, 2024. SEVEN wonderful charities benefited from the event: Meals from the Heartland, New Horizons, Special Olympics, Job Rides, DMPD PAL, Heart of Hazel, and The Little White Schoolhouse.
We also recognized 16 scholarship award winners for the Dan & Dee O’Donnell Memorial Scholarship.
The 32nd O’Donnell & Friends Open will be held Friday, June 27th, 2025. SIX wonderful charities will benefit from the event: Harvest Academy, Mary’s Helping Hands, St. Anthony School, Free Store, Foster SQUAD, and Community Hand Up.
