The Dan & Dee O’Donnell Memorial Scholarship Fund was implemented in 2017 to provide tuition assistance to graduating high school seniors. A minimum of two $1,000 scholarship awards are announced and given at the O’Donnell & Friends Open every June.
This service-based scholarship was created to honor the legacy of Dan & Dee O’Donnell and their commitment of improving the lives of those in need through their lifestyle of selfless service. Potential recipients of the scholarship are considered based on the applicant’s active involvement in the community.
In 2024, O’Donnell & Friends Charities was honored to provide over $10,000 worth of scholarships to 16 students who had demonstrated an impact in their community. A huge thank you to Mentor Iowa, with their partnership, allowed us to provide to so many worthy candidates.
The RIPPLE Scholarship Fund was implemented in 2025 to provide tuition assistance to students in their second year of college or beyond. A minimum of two $1,000 scholarship awards are announced and given at the O’Donnell & Friends Open in June.
This service-based scholarship was created to honor the legacy of Gary O’Donnell and his dedication to community betterment and philanthropy. Potential recipients of the scholarship are considered based on the applicant’s active involvement in the community.
The 2025 scholarship applications are now open and due May 9, 2025.
